Privacy Policy

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: email address and authentication credentials (managed via our authentication provider; we never see or store your raw password).
• Billing information: when you subscribe or purchase credits, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details directly. We receive and store only a Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and subscription status - never your full card number.
• Support and waitlist communications: if you email us, join a waitlist, or verify your email address, we store the email address and message content.

1.2 Information generated by your use of the Service

• Search and query data: the inputs you submit to our market analysis, competitor lens, and revenue calculator tools - for example, property addresses, coordinates, bedroom/bathroom counts, and market/location filters.
• Search history and results: saved analyses, chart data, and AI-generated summaries tied to your account, so you can revisit past reports.
• Credit and transaction records: your credit balance and a log of credit debits/credits (including the Stripe event that produced them), used for billing accuracy and support.
• Job and error logs: technical records of how a request moved through our processing pipeline (status, retry count, error messages), used for reliability and debugging.

1.3 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use strictly necessary cookies to run the Service (e.g., keeping you signed in) and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer, or through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.

1.4 Information about third parties that appears in your search results

Because AirquerAI is a short-term-rental market research tool, the reports we generate may include information about other people - for example, a host's display name or Superhost status, sourced from our third-party market data provider. This information is about hosts and listings on third-party platforms, not about you, and we do not control how it was originally collected. If you are a host and have questions about data appearing in our reports, see Section 8.

We do not knowingly collect more personal information than we need to provide the Service.

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account and authenticate you;
• Process subscription payments and one-off credit purchases, and reconcile your credit balance;
• Run your market analysis, competitor lens, and revenue calculator requests, including calling our third-party data and AI providers on your behalf;
• Save and display your search history and reports;
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms and Conditions;
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• Send service-related communications (billing receipts, verification emails, status updates) and, only with your consent, marketing communications;
• Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your search inputs to build advertising profiles about you for third parties.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract - providing the Service, processing payments, and maintaining your account.
• Legitimate interests - fraud prevention, service security, product analytics, and debugging, balanced against your rights.
• Consent - marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation - responding to legal requests and keeping tax/accounting records.

We share information with the following categories of service providers ("subprocessors"), each of which is only permitted to use your information to provide services to us:

• Supabase - hosting, database, authentication, and backend infrastructure that stores your account, search history, and credit data.
• Stripe - payment processing for subscriptions and credit packs. Stripe acts as an independent controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy.
• Third-party market data provider - the source of our short-term-rental market and listing data. When you run a search, the location/property parameters you submit are sent to this provider to retrieve market and listing data.
• OpenAI - used to generate the plain-language AI summaries that accompany certain reports. Relevant search context is sent to OpenAI's API to produce the summary text.
• Resend - sends transactional email on our behalf, including account verification and billing-related notifications.
• Google Analytics - website usage analytics (pages viewed, session duration, general engagement patterns). Only loads after you consent to analytics cookies in our cookie preference tool. Google may process this data outside your country, including in the United States; see Google's privacy policy for how Google handles it as our processor.

We may also disclose information: to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; to protect the rights, property, or safety of AirquerAI, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (subject to standard confidentiality protections).

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent UK mechanism, and we require our subprocessors to provide an adequate level of protection.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we generally retain:

• Billing records: as required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 6–7 years);
• Search history and job logs: until you delete them or close your account, or per our standard backup rotation thereafter;
• Support correspondence: for a reasonable period to resolve related issues and improve support quality.

We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, subject to legal hold obligations.

7.1 If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR)

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7.2 If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate information; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not currently sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA); limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

7.3 Exercising your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@airquerai.com. We will verify your request using your account email before acting on it, and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you are a short-term-rental host and believe your listing information appears in an AirquerAI report and you have concerns about that data, please contact us at support@airquerai.com. Because this data originates from our third-party market data provider and public listing platforms, we may direct you to the original source, but we will investigate and respond in good faith.

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures - including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database - to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our revenue calculator, market analysis, and AI-generated summaries use statistical models and AI to produce estimates and plain-language explanations of market data. These outputs are informational only, do not constitute investment, financial, legal, or professional advice, and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects about you as an individual - no automated decision under GDPR Article 22 is made about you personally based on this processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most current version.
